Industrial Property Law (Journal of Laws 2013, item 1410, as amended), the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland granted our company patent protection. The subject of the invention is<strong>&#8220;The method and system for protecting three-phase electric motors from the effects of single coils of stator windings short circuits&#8221;<\/strong>, applicable in particular to the protection of high-power synchronous and asynchronous motors.   <\/p>\n<p>The most common cause of failures in synchronous and asynchronous motors driving equipment is grounding due to the degradation of the winding insulation. The insulation deteriorates due to internal inter-turn short circuits, which cause a rapid increase in the temperature of the shorted winding. Conventional calculation methods based on classical differential equations relating currents, powers and inductances are unable to clearly convey and evaluate the magnitude of currents during inter-turn short circuits of individual coil windings of stator windings.  <\/p>\n<p>The method and system for protecting three-phase electric motors from the effects of single turn short circuits in stator winding coils, according to the invention, ensure effective motor protection even in cases of short circuits of only single coils of stator windings. Industrial Property Law (Journal of Laws of 2013, item 1410, as amended), the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland granted our company patent protection. The subject of the invention is a<strong>&#8220;Device for measuring cross-sectional parameters, especially of mine shafts&#8221;<\/strong>, applicable in particular to the control of local deformation of mine shaft linings, as well as deep wells, high chimney flues, such as power plant stacks.    <\/p>\n<p>The shaft, as a fundamental component of the vertical transport and ventilation system in a mining facility, is subject to various damages during its operation due to dynamic (vibrations) and atmospheric influences. Then there are usually local deformations of the shaft casing causing changes in the parameters of the geometry of the shaft casing and, consequently, unevenness of the hoisting vessel guides, which can lead to possible jamming, falling out of the vessel or its catching on the lining or a shaft reinforcement element. In this situation, it is necessary to periodically monitor important parameters of the shaft geometry, especially those of key importance: the verticality of the shaft and the shape of the cross-section envelope.  <\/p>\n<p>The device according to the invention, contains a measuring module equipped with a control block, a power supply block and a portable computer, which are all housed in a service capsule that is lowered into the shaft and integrated with the scanning module base. Thanks to the use of proprietary solutions, it allows efficient and safe measurements.
