They also improve the safety of their operation and prevent significant property damage and environmental harm. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Subjected to these tests are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>underground metal tanks for liquid fuels,<\/li>\n<li>underground pipelines (gas pipelines, oil pipelines, oxygen pipelines).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Positive results of acceptance or periodic tests allow the installation to be put into operation or extend the period of its further use. Negative results inform of the need to carry out appropriate repairs, and if repairs are not cost-effective, they lead to the decommissioning of the installation. <\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- \/module text -->        <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                        <div  data-css_id=\"w254722\" data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_row themify_builder_row fullwidth_row_container tb_w254722 tf_w\">\n                        <div class=\"row_inner col_align_top tb_col_count_1 tf_box tf_rel\">\n                        <div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column tb-column col-full tb_vp3d997 first\">\n                            <div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_subrow themify_builder_sub_row tf_w col_align_top tb_col_count_2 tb_elgz115\">\n                <div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column sub_column col4-2 tb_7fnk755 first\">\n                    <!-- module text -->\n<div  class=\"module module-text tb_ulh2222   \" data-lazy=\"1\">\n        <div  class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n        <p><strong>Testing includes:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>measurements of anodes resistance and their isolation from the protected structure,<\/li><li>measurement of the electrical separation of the protected structure using insulating joints,<\/li><li>measurement of the electrical separation of the protected structure from the protective pipes and the grounding system,<\/li><li>measurements of anodes potential, protected structure, foreign structures adjacent to the protected structure, stationary reference electrodes,<\/li><li>measurements of interference due to possible stray currents,<\/li><li>verification of whether the protective structure&#8217;s cutoff potential relative to the Cu\/CuSO\u2084 electrode is -0.85 V (or more electronegative).<\/li><\/ul><p>The conditions and scope of the tests are defined by the standard PN-EN 13636:2006 &#8211; Cathodic protection of underground metallic tanks and associated pipelines.<\/p><p> <\/p>    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- \/module text -->        <\/div>\n                    <div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column sub_column col4-2 tb_40jn855 last\">\n                    <!-- module text -->\n<div  class=\"module module-text tb_cq2h620   \" data-lazy=\"1\">\n        <div  class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n        <p><strong>Testing of underground metallic pipelines includes:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>measurements of the unit resistance of individual sections as well as the entire pipeline relative to the ground, using either an existing or portable cathodic protection station and existing reference measurement points, known as PIs, <\/li><li>measurements of the tightness of the insulation coating (transition resistance) of HDD borehole before connecting the ends to the rest of the pipeline<\/li><li>measurements of the insulation monoblock using either the technical or potential methods,<\/li><li>localization of insulation coating defects using the DCVG method,<\/li><li>measurement of current distribution between sections of a gas pipeline equipped with reference measurement points, known as PIs, <\/li><li>measurement of electrolytic or galvanic isolation of the line pipe from the protective pipe,<\/li><li>Comparative measurements of stationary Cu\/CuSO4 reference electrodes,<\/li><li>localization of galvanic short circuits between the pipeline and foreign structures, PE cables, or grounding systems,<\/li><li>measurements of resting, switching and eoff potentials at measurement points along the pipeline route.<\/li><\/ul><p> <\/p>    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- \/module text -->        <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                        <div  data-css_id=\"ha2d277\" data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_row themify_builder_row fullwidth_row_container tb_ha2d277 tf_w\">\n                        <div class=\"row_inner col_align_top tb_col_count_1 tf_box tf_rel\">\n                        <div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column tb-column col-full tb_nio4244 first\">\n                    <!-- module text -->\n<div  class=\"module module-text tb_qrjw624   \" data-lazy=\"1\">\n        <div  class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n        <p>Besides the report, upon the client&#8217;s request, photographic documentation in electronic form and specific GPS coordinates (in the WGS84 system) for the locations of cabinets, measurement points, and coating defects of the tested objects can be prepared and attached. <\/p>\n<p>The conditions and scope of testing are defined by the standard PN-EN 13509:2005 Measurement methods in cathodic protection.<\/p>\n<p>Our company also conducts tests in accordance with the standard PN-EN ISO 21857:2022 Prevention of corrosion on pipeline systems influenced by stray currents. <\/p>\n<p>Our staff hold a current certification of competency as &#8220;Cathodic protection worker&#8221;
