MEASUREMENTS OF POWER QUALITY
We perform power quality measurements in low, medium, and high voltage networks.
In particular, the measurements cover the scope specified in current regulations and standards, including, among others:
- measurement of supply voltage frequency,
- measurement of the effective value of the network’s nominal voltage,
- measurement of higher harmonics in voltage and current with the capability to determine voltage and current distortion factors,
- Measurement of supply voltage asymmetry , measurement of power supply interruptions,
- measurements of supply voltage dips and swells (rapid fluctuations),
- measurement of flicker nuisance.
We also perform:
- measurement of active, reactive, and apparent power consumption,
- measurements of power factor and delta tangent (tanδ),
- analysis of invoices for active and reactive power to identify opportunities for reducing costs for active and reactive energy.
We perform power quality measurements using Class A recording equipment—such measurements can serve as evidence in disputes between the energy supplier and the electricity consumer.
